The AeroTech Reloadable Motor System RMS is an aluminum cased reusable motor in kit form that is assembled by the user. You will need AeroTech RMS-75/3840 motor hardware to build and complete the motor for many reliable flights. Motor hardware is available separately in a complete set, and also as individual parts. This motor requires installing a stainless steel forward seal disc (75FSDSS) during assembly. Important: High Power RMS reload kits are not compatible with Mid Power RMS products.
The L1940X-PS is a Plugged/Smoke motor reload. Plugged reload kits do not utilize a motor-actuated delay or ejection charge. Plugged motors must be used in conjunction with a timer, altimeter or radio-activated recovery system.
This RMS motor reload utilizes RCSs exclusive Propellant X™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which is a high ISP propellant, and produces a bright white flame with a moderate amount of smoke.
The AeroTech motor reload kit comes with 1 rocket motor reload. Reload kits include all internal motor components and FirstFire™ Initiators and requires HAZMAT shipping via FEDEX.
Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).

Propellant X is so much better than Blue Thunder. It has a lot more power for lift offs and the tracking smoke gives you something Blue Thunder lacks. For models of missiles, the rapid lift offs along with the long flame makes the model look more like a real missile. I am sold on Propellant x!Jack Caynon (20 Jul 2025, 00:02)
