The AeroTech G73C features a reloadable-motor–derived composite formulation engineered for consistent ignition, high thrust, and repeatable performance in mid-power applications.
The G73C uses AeroTech’s Classic™ composite propellant, producing a fast, aggressive burn that delivers 128.64 N-sec (28.91 lb-sec) of total impulse over a 1.85-second burn time. With a peak thrust of 89.90 N (20.21 lbs) and an average thrust of 69.32 N (15.58 lbs), this motor provides authoritative lift-offs well suited for heavier mid-power airframes and high-drag designs.
Classic™ propellant produces a translucent, smoke-free exhaust plume, often revealing visible supersonic Mach diamonds during ascent. The absence of smoke gives the striking illusion that the rocket simply launches itself off the rail, making this motor a favorite for flyers who appreciate clean visuals paired with serious thrust.
With 62 grams of propellant and a total motor weight of 127 g (0.27 lbs.), the G73C is an excellent all-around G-class motor for sport flying, demonstration launches, and certification practice. While photos capture the numbers, they rarely do justice to the sharp acceleration and dramatic exhaust signature — this is a motor best appreciated in flight.
