Required Hardware
The AeroTech Reloadable Motor System RMS is an aluminum cased reusable motor in kit form that is assembled by the user. You will need AeroTech RMS-18/20 motor hardware to build and complete the motor for many reliable flights. Motor hardware is available separately in a complete set, and also as individual parts. Important: Mid Power RMS reload kits are not compatible with High Power RMS products. This RMS motor reload utilizes RCSs exclusive White Lightning™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces a gorgeous bright white flame with lots of dense white smoke and a throaty roar at lift-off.
The AeroTech motor reload kit comes with 3 rocket motor reloads. Reload kits include all internal motor components and FirstFire™ Initiators. This AeroTech motor is U.S. mailable with no hazmat fee!

This is one surprising motor. At 18mm it fits in lots of smaller rockets. At 19.6 ns. It is practical a full D. Using this in a rocket previously flown on Estes C6 motors will be blown away! With over twice the total power as a C6 motor and over twice the average thrust! This 18mm D13 at 19.6ns is even more than a 24mm Estes D12 at 17ns!
