Our New Shepard builder kit, with its officially licensed and exclusive design by Estes, is perfect for intermediate skill levels. Its lighter weight enables it to reach impressive altitudes of 700 ft on a C6-5 engine. Estes rocket kits come in a range of skill levels, from beginner to advanced, and include all necessary parts and instructions, so you can get started right away.
To build the New Shepard kit, you will need some basic tools and materials. For launch, the Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad and Electron Beam Launch Controller, Estes model rocket engines, starters, and recovery wadding are required (sold separately). Four 1.5V high-quality AA alkaline batteries are also needed for the launch controller (not included).
