The AeroTech Reloadable Motor System RMS is an aluminum cased reusable motor in kit form that is assembled by the user. You will need AeroTech RMS-54/2560 motor hardware to build and complete the motor for many reliable flights. Motor hardware is available separately in a complete set, and also as individual parts. This motor requires installing a forward seal disc (54FSD) during assembly. Important: High Power RMS reload kits are not compatible with Mid Power RMS products.
The K375NW-PS is a Plugged/Smoke motor reload. Plugged reload kits do not utilize a motor-actuated delay or ejection charge. Plugged motors must be used in conjunction with a timer, altimeter or radio-activated recovery system.
This “boost-sustain” motor uses a combination of AeroTech’s Warp- 9™ and White Lightning™ propellants to produce a unique thrust curve with a brilliant white flame and a moderate amount of smoke. The “boost” portion of the thrust curve is Warp- 9™ propellant, followed by a longer “sustain” phase of White Lightning™ propellant.
The AeroTech motor reload kit comes with 1 rocket motor reload. Reload kits include all internal motor components and FirstFire™ Initiators and requires HAZMAT shipping via FEDEX.
Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).
