Required Hardware and Endburn-style Plugged Forward Closure (38EBFCPT)
The AeroTech Reloadable Motor System RMS is an aluminum cased reusable motor in kit form that is assembled by the user. You will need AeroTech RMS-38/120 motor hardware to build and complete the motor for many reliable flights. Motor hardware is available separately in a complete set, and also as individual parts. Important: High Power RMS reload kits are not compatible with Mid Power RMS products.
The G69N-P is a Plugged motor reload. Plugged reload kits do not utilize a motor-actuated delay or ejection charge. Plugged motors must be used in conjunction with a timer, altimeter or radio-activated recovery system. This motor requires a Endburn-style Plugged Forward Closure (38EBFCPT).
This RMS motor reload utilizes RCSs exclusive Warp-9™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces a prominent yellow-orange flame studded with “mach diamonds.” Warp-9 is AeroTech’s fastest burning propellant. Originally developed for Orbital’s Pegasus® fin motors, Warp-9 is perfect when you need the highest thrust possible from a given motor size. When used in a “endburning” grain configuration, Warp-9 delivers a unique thrust curve profile.
The AeroTech motor reload kit comes with 1 rocket motor reload. Reload kits include all internal motor components and FirstFire™ Initiators. Requires HAZMAT shipping via FEDEX.
