Astra III

Bright, bold and rugged, the Astra III is one of our bestselling rockets. Part of our Quick-Kit family, it features a unique plastic fin-can assembly. It is a great kit for groups who have already built one of our Skill Level 1 rockets with a one-piece molded fin-unit like the Viper. It requires a little more skill to assemble, as individual fins are fitted and glued into the center fin-can unit, but still goes together very easy and fast. The Astra III rocket features a Kevlar/elastic shock cord system, quick-release motor mount, self-adhesive decals and 14 inch recovery parachute.

Quest Skill Level 1 Quick-Kits do not require painting or finishing beyond the application of self-adhesive decals and can usually be completed in 30 to 45 minutes or less.
