Celtic Thunder

The Celtic Thunder is the FlisKits 10th anniversary rocket. Personally, I like it as the design came to me (Ray DiPaola) early one Saturday morning. After a number of different versions were built and flown, Jim came to me at one of the NERRF events and asked I would be willing to let him kit it up.  The interlocking fins seem complex, but after thinking them through, it turns out they are very easy to make. A great addition to your fleet and another unique FlisKits design.

Cheetah

This long, narrow, multistage rocket is capable of very high flights. It has an unusual external shock cord to help slow the decent. Not very difficult to build but with enough construction that there is a real sense of “I made this!”, the Cheetah will leap off the pad.

Corona

If long skinny rockets or ring fins are your thing, the Corona is for you! This kit was originally designed to commemorate the final NEMROC convention. With laser cut fins, assembly of this unique rocket is not difficult and it will fly on motors from A to C. We are now selling this only as the two stage version. The Corona-2 booster parts and instructions are included with every kit.

Dead Ringer

With three ringed fins, the Dead Ringer is a tiny version of the Borealis!  Cool to build, flies straight and true.

Decaffinator

The DECAFFEINATOR!  is a large (69″ tall!) rocket made of foam cups and foam board. Weighing in at only 6 oz, this flies great on C11 and D12 Engines.  As we reintroduce this kit, we have made the decision to sell it only with the foam glider. Also, to make it a bit easier to transport, we have included an extra cup and noted in the instructions which configuration to build so it can be moved around in two parts. Doubles

Two stage Micromaxx! The Doubles kit can easily fly out of sight so be sure to bring along a spotter or two! While not difficult to build nor fly, this tiny rocket will really go.

Eagle Eye

The Eagle Eye is a downscale of our popular Drake. With laser cut fins, a shroud to make, water slide decals and a jig to help get everything aligned, this is a fun build!

Gigabucks

The first new kit since the FlisKits reboot is here! Based on the Micro to the Maxx Buckshot, this upscale now sports 6 fins and 24mm power. Mighty Saturn V

The Mighty Saturn V is a 1:884 scale model of the rocket that took humans to the moon. Featuring water slide decals and even an escape “tower”, this build is as fun and interesting as the looks you will get when it is on the pad! To enable this kit to use scale fins, it uses a Drag Shroud which also doubles as a stand. This rocket will make a fine addition to your Micro to the MAXX fleet.

Monster Mud Wasp

The Monster Mudwasp was born of the idea that I wanted to upscale the MMX Mudwasp. After making it in BT5, BT20, BT50 and BT55 versions people started commenting on the big one so here it is! Basswood fins, 24mm power and nylon chute make this a tough rocket. A C11 will get it off the ground for a very low flight and it will handle D, E, and F motors for those with larger fields. A wonderful addition to any fleet!

Morning Star

With an exciting 5 fin design, the Morning Star is an elegant yet simple rocket to build. The 24 mm mount allows for thousand foot flights with E power and yet a C-11 will keep this bird on a smaller field.

Petite Praetor

Jim Flis has always said that the Praetor was his favorite design. So it was fitting that this is the first MMX kit he brought out when starting the Micro to that Maxx product line. Featuring waterslide decals like its big brother, this beauty looks great and flights match its good looks.

The Special Piercing Armament Device (S. P. A. D.) was created in memory of Bill Spadafora who was involved in model rocketry in many ways and for many years. As a skill level 2 rocket, there is a little more for you to do and the results will be well worth the effort.

Tartar

This Sport Scale model of the RIM-24 Tartar is a fun to build and fly model of one of the primay Surface to Air Missiles deployed by US Navy in the 1960s and 70s.

Teeny Triskelion

Little brother to the Triskelion, the Teeny Triskelion is fun to make, fun to fly and has the unique tipped fin tip shape!

Traffic Cones

These tiny traffic cones (you get two in the kit) make for a fun low flight. Still takes some effort to build – they are FlisKits after all – with a shroud and base plate. Paint them bright colors!!

UFFO
